The Minneapolis Freeze topped the Detroit Death Stars, 5-0, in Darryl Kile League action at The Death Star. The player of the game was Minneapolis pitcher Pero Donini. The Freeze bumped their record to 64-59 with this latest triumph.
Rafael Vázquez swatted a 2-run home run for Minneapolis in the top of the sixth. The left fielder went 2 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 2.
