Andrade Delivers Walk-Off Win for Fireballs
Joplin beat Reno at The Firepit, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Bob Brown, who earned player of the game honors. Xian Wang picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Diego Contreras was tagged with the loss. The Fireballs now own a record of 54-67.

The Fireballs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Ernesto Andrade. For the game, Andrade went 2-6 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the tenth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 118th hit of the season gave Joplin a 6-5 lead.

"It feels good to get this one," Andrade told the Joplin Daily.
