Raptors, Sharp Blast Bumblebees

A 3-RBI performance from Shaun Sharp, who is tied for 2nd in the DKL in home runs with 28, helped the Omaha Raptors beat the Pasadena Bumblebees, 14-1. Omaha, at 66-55, occupies first place in the Darryl Kile League Joe Torre Division.
The Raptors got a big at-bat from shortstop Sam Harrington. For the game, Harrington was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Omaha a 5-1 lead.
"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Omaha manager Jim Fernández.
