The home team gave the Albuquerque Sports Stadium fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

The Albuquerque Cacti eked out a 6-5 win versus the Coronado Phantoms at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Nobody did more than third baseman Takafumi Ueno, who captured player of the game honors. The win was Hisataro Sato's in relief. His record improves to 6-4. Yoshino Nakagawa took the loss for Coronado.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Albuquerque shortstop Damian Ballesteros, facing Yoshino Nakagawa, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Cacti the 6-5 win.

"We're one win closer to our goal," Ballesteros said in postgame remarks.

The Cacti bumped their record to 77-44 with this latest triumph.
