Big Day by Green Sparks Raiders Win
|
Reno first baseman Andrew Green had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Detroit Death Stars, 6-3. The Raiders bumped their record to 60-59 with this latest triumph.
Green had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 0-2 fastball from José Barrachina, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Raiders a 6-3 lead. It was the 14th home run of the year for Green.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Green. "And not try to do too much."
