Cacti Win at Canton, 5-1
|
Albuquerque starter Luis García had a strong outing against the Canton Paczkis at Mckinley Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-1 win. Hisataro Sato was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 39 of 43 save opportunities. The Cacti own a robust 76-42 mark.
Kijuro Masuda, who is tied for 7th in the NAL with a .500 slugging percentage, aided the Albuquerque cause with a 2-run double in the top of the second. For the game, the first baseman went 1-3 with a double and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI.
