Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Raiders
The Reno Raiders topped the Detroit Death Stars by the score of 4-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Mike Brockett. Brockett was 2-3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Raiders on the day. Reno reliever Mei-shan Huang was the winner. His record is now 2-6. Kent Whitten took the loss. The Raiders bumped their record to 59-59 with this latest triumph.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Reno catcher Gary Carter, facing Kent Whitten, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Raiders the 4-3 win.

"This place was electric at the end," Brockett said.
