|
The Fairfield Flash topped the Acapulco Banditos, 5-3, in Nick Adenhart League action at Underdogs Ballpark. The player of the game was Fairfield pitcher Yeong-suk Kim. Paul Calamy, credited with the save, is now 5 for 5 in save opportunities. Fairfield leads the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division by 13˝ games.
Had Nobutsugu Yamaguchi not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Yamaguchi hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Flash.
