Scranton and Acapulco duked it out at Hell Stadium and the Escape came out victorious.

The Scranton Escape defeated the Acapulco Banditos, 3-1, in Nick Adenhart League action at Hell Stadium, with Scranton pitcher Iván Herrera named player of the game. Herrera got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 4 hits and walked 0 over 5.1 innings. Herrera allowed 1 earned run. Robert Cook earned his 1st save in 2 chances.

Milton Cloarec, who was drafted in the two round of the 2029 draft, aided the Scranton cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the pinch hitter drew 1 walk.
