With right fielder Shoji Ando leading the charge, the Omaha Raptors defeated the Reno Raiders, 7-4, at Anchorage Municipal Stadium. Ando, who is tied for 3rd in the DKL in triples with 7, went 4 for 5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs. Omaha has now won 3 in a row.

With Omaha leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Ando hit a cutter from Maurice Bignold for a bases-clearing triple. It was his 7th triple of the season and put the Raptors ahead, 4-0.
