Pitcher He-ping Wang was sensational for the Fort Worth Cats in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Vancouver Canadians. Wang received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Bobby Saxon earned his 30th save in 34 chances. With the win, Fort Worth goes to 56-58, while the Canadians fall to 56-57.
Fort Worth relied on the bat of Chandler Lennie to get the win. The left fielder ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Cats ahead, 2-0. For the game, Lennie had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Wang said.
