Alexander Hits 2 home runs in Argonauts Win

Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Kieran Alexander, the Astoria Argonauts defeated the Peoria Caterpillars, 7-3. Alexander was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Argonauts. With the win, Astoria goes to 53-61, while the Caterpillars fall to 56-58.
Mun-wah Lok aided the Astoria cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth. For the game, the pinch hitter went 1-1.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Lok told the Astoria Daily.
