The Pasadena Bumblebees defeated the Minneapolis Freeze, 6-4, at The Hole. Pasadena pinch hitter Ming Chin was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Pasadena reliever Barend Bilderbeek was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Rodolfo Reyes took the loss. Pasadena is in last place in the Darryl Kile League Joe Torre Division with a record of 46-65.

Chin had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a full count fastball from Rodolfo Reyes, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Bumblebees a 6-4 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Chin.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Chin.
