Aeropostales Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
Fairfield right fielder Nobutsugu Yamaguchi had a good game, even if his team did not. The Flash dropped a 7-5 decision to Indian Wells at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Yamaguchi was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Indian Wells reliever Jose Avilez picked up the win, upping his record to 3-4. Saiyid Mashwanis was saddled with the loss. Indian Wells is now 56-57, Fairfield 74-35.

The Aeropostales got a big at-bat from designated hitter Johnny Dominguez. For the game, Dominguez was 2 for 7 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI. In the top of the 14th, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 63rd hit of the season gave Indian Wells a 7-5 lead.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Dominguez. "And not try to do too much."
