Banditos Topple Cacti with Late Rally

The Acapulco Banditos picked up a win at Albuquerque Sports Stadium, knocking off the Albuquerque Cacti, 4-2. On the mound for Acapulco was right-hander Ron Ogden, who played a pivotal role in the win. Acapulco reliever Khalid Legras picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Hisataro Sato was saddled with the loss. With the win, Acapulco has a record of 46-64. Albuquerque falls to 71-40.
Phil Mouland's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With no one out, he rapped a fastball from Hisataro Sato for a solo home run. It put Acapulco in front, 3-2.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Mouland.
