Baristas Walk Off with Win
|
The Silver Lake Baristas stopped the Fort Worth Cats, 5-4, at Ashton Gate. The Baristas got a big game from Chan-ho Lim, who was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Silver Lake reliever Cyprien Bataille was the winner. His record is now 1-2. Bobby Saxon took the loss. The Baristas go to 52-56, putting them third in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division.
Lim had a game-changing double in the bottom of the ninth. On a full count fastball from Bobby Saxon, he banged a run-scoring double to left, giving the Baristas a 5-4 lead. It was the 18th double of the year for Lim.
"It was a solid team effort," said Lim after the game.
