The Peoria Caterpillars got a rain-soaked win over the Omaha Raptors at Excavatar Park.

The Peoria Caterpillars topped the Omaha Raptors, 4-3, in Darryl Kile League action at Excavatar Park. The player of the game was Peoria center fielder Francis Barlow. With the win over Omaha, the Caterpillars improved to 54-56.

The Caterpillars got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jesús González. For the game, González was 1 for 2. In the bottom of the tenth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 1st hit of the season gave Peoria a 4-3 lead.

"We did a lot of things right," said Barlow.
