Beavers Bang Out 9-2 Win Versus Kansas City
The Portland Beavers beat the Kansas City Tornadoes, 9-2, at Debris Field. The win was largely due to the efforts of catcher Ralph Blair, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Hajime Ota, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher.
