Pasadena played host to Astoria at the friendly confines of The Hole.

The Astoria Argonauts got a superb performance from shortstop Pablo Sosa, but the Pasadena Bumblebees still won the game, 10-7. Sosa was named the player of the game despite the loss. He went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 3 runs. With the win over Astoria, the Bumblebees improved to 45-63.

Roberto Trevino put Pasadena in front, 6-5, when he took Chris Pelton downtown. His 3-run home run came with two out in the bottom of the third. It was his 6th home run of the season.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Trevino told reporters after the game.
