Bumblebees Lose, 4-2, at Foothills Stadium
Foothills Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Pasadena Bumblebees and Calgary Kodiaks.

The Calgary Kodiaks beat the Pasadena Bumblebees, 4-2, at Foothills Stadium. The win was largely due to the efforts of left fielder Bill O'Brien, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-4 with a triple and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs. Calgary is now 45-61, Pasadena 44-63.

The Kodiaks got a big at-bat from catcher Noriyuki Miyamoto. For the game, Miyamoto went 1 for 4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Calgary a 2-1 lead.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Miyamoto told the Calgary News.
