Hairston was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Fort Worth reliever Bobby Saxon was the winner. His record is now 2-4. Máximo Larreta took the loss. Fort Worth now has a 3-game win streak.
Adam Lowry was the walk-off hero for Fort Worth. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Cats pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
