DeWoody Helps Coronado Cruise to 10-3 Win
A 6-RBI performance from Jamie DeWoody helped the Coronado Phantoms beat the Silver Lake Baristas, 10-3. Taylor Longbottom, credited with the win, is now 6-9. He allowed 3 runs on 9 hits in 7 innings. The Phantoms now own a record of 40-66.

DeWoody contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing double, for Coronado in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, DeWoody took a fastball from Douggie Pitchford and stroked the double to right-center. His 1st double of the season allowed the Phantoms to leap in front, 3-1.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said DeWoody.
