Drstasara Sahni pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Minneapolis Freeze, despite Sahni's fine outing, dropped a 3-1 decision to the Astoria Argonauts at Golden Fleece Park. Astoria reliever Jeff Schwartz picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Drstasara Sahni absorbed the loss. At 44-59, the Argonauts find themselves in 5th place in the Darryl Kile League Cito Gaston League.

Carlos Alonzo recorded a big out in the top of the ninth. Minneapolis was trailing 3-1. With two out and the bases loaded, Alonzo retired Jorge Barrera when Barrera grounded out.
