Death Stars Lose, 7-5, at Albuquerque Sports Stadium

The Albuquerque Cacti picked up a win at Albuquerque Sports Stadium, knocking off the Detroit Death Stars, 7-5. On the mound for Albuquerque was left-hander James Crowe, who played a pivotal role in the win. Crowe went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 3, and struck out 6. His record improves to 7-0. The Cacti own a robust 65-36 mark.
Kijuro Masuda aided the Albuquerque cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
