Behind a solid performance from designated hitter John Haley, the Calgary Kodiaks defeated the Scranton Escape, 5-4. Haley went 4 for 7 with 4 singles for the Kodiaks. Calgary reliever Raúl Flores picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Joe Kenner absorbed the loss. With the win, Calgary goes to 41-58, while the Escape fall to 41-60.

The Kodiaks got a big at-bat from second baseman Sterling Hudswell. For the game, Hudswell went 2-6 with a double and a walk. In the top of the 13th, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 26th hit of the season gave Calgary a 5-4 lead.

"I was a little disappointed," said Scranton manager Julián Cancil. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
