Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Cats
The Fort Worth Cats picked up a win at LaGrave Field, knocking off the Minneapolis Freeze, 2-1. Starting pitcher He-ping Wang played a key role in the triumph. José Trevino got credit for the win, improving to 2-2. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1 innings. Fort Worth's record now stands at 49-50, placing them third in the Nick Adenhart League Bobby Cox Division.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Fort Worth catcher Roger Washington, facing Curt Hart, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Cats the 2-1 win.

"I was a little disappointed," said Minneapolis manager John Justin. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
