Paczkis Prevail, 2-0, Over Reno
|
The Canton Paczkis picked up a win at Mckinley Park, knocking off the Reno Raiders, 2-0. Starting pitcher Leonard Lee played a key role in the triumph. P.J. Ross converted his 18th save in 23 tries. Canton now has a 3-game win streak.
The Paczkis got a big at-bat from left fielder Dennis Perry. For the game, Perry was 2-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 11th double of the season gave Canton a 2-0 lead.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Lee. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
