It was a fun time at Bronx Ballpark, where the Scranton Escape and Bronx Bombers tangled.
The Bronx Bombers racked up a win at Bronx Ballpark, bumping off the Scranton Escape, 5-1. Dost Ghuman, who started for Bronx, pitched effectively for his team. Ghuman got the win, improving to 6-6. He allowed 6 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. Ghuman allowed 1 earned run.
The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the sixth inning, but Ghuman was able to pitch out of a jam. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Scranton trailing 3-1, Ghuman retired Mitsuo Sasaki, who flied out.
