The Coronado Phantoms downed the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 12-2, at Stars Field. Sean Hayward led the way, going 3-for-4 for Coronado. The Phantoms improve their record to 36-59 with the win over Indian Wells.

Hayward had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Phantoms went on to win.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Hayward told the Coronado Times.
