The Indian Wells Aeropostales got a stellar performance from pitcher Yeijiro Ishihara, who handcuffed the Coronado offense en route to a 6-1 win at Stars Field. Kevin Spurr was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 24 of 29 save opportunities. Indian Wells is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Frank Lewis helped out the Indian Wells cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the first baseman went 2-4 with a double.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Ishihara told the Indian Wells Daily News.
