The Acapulco Banditos topped the Bowling Green Racers, 5-1, in Nick Adenhart League action at Underdogs Ballpark. The player of the game was Acapulco designated hitter Coy Jacobs. Acapulco now sits in 5th place in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division at 39-55.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and one out in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when first baseman Rhett Cawse hit a double. The Banditos went on to win.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Bowling Green manager Walt Dobson.
