Nakano Helps Freeze Run Win Streak to 3
The Minneapolis Freeze topped the Reno Raiders, 9-7, with left fielder Toshiro Nakano playing a big role. Nakano went 2-2 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Freeze in the win. Scott Ray picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-1. Daladhisvara Harishandra was tagged with the loss. The first-place Freeze have a one-game lead in their division.

Nakano had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-2 curveball from Daladhisvara Harishandra, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Freeze a 8-5 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Nakano.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Nakano said.
