Raptors Shut Out Fireballs
The Omaha Raptors topped the Joplin Fireballs, 4-0, in Darryl Kile League action at The Firepit. The player of the game was Omaha pitcher Harold Hayne. The Raptors bumped their record to 53-41 with this latest triumph.

Wilfred Bray aided the Omaha cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"I thought we played a nice game," Bray told the Omaha Bulletin. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
