Stone, Sasquatch Too Much for Hornets
|
The Seattle Sasquatch topped the Eureka Hornets by the score of 5-3, with the largest share of the credit going to right fielder Scott Stone. Stone was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Sasquatch. Tadahisa Minami, the winner, improved to 2-2. He held the Hornets to 2 earned runs on 6 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2.
