The Bowling Green Racers got a rather unremarkable outing from starting pitcher Luis Rodríguez, but it was good enough for the club to take a 7-5 decision over the Scranton Escape. Bowling Green is now riding a 4-game win streak.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the ninth inning, but Brian Reddin didn't flinch. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and Scranton trailing 7-5, Reddin retired Tom Cherry to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Reddin, with a wink.
