The Death Star was the site of a competitive game between the Detroit Death Stars and Reno Raiders.
Reno Raiders starter Almas bin Su'ud was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Detroit Death Stars, 4-2. Mei-shan Huang, credited with the save, is now 6 for 7 in save opportunities.
Ricardo Peralta, who is tied for 7th in the DKL in doubles with 20, aided the Reno cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the third. For the game, the third baseman went 1-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," bin Su'ud told the Reno Today.
At 49-43, the Raiders find themselves in third place in the Darryl Kile League Joe Torre Division.
