Omaha pitcher Mitsuzuka Nakano did his part in helping his team beat the Minneapolis Freeze, 7-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The first-place Raptors have won 4 straight games.

It could have been a different outcome for Omaha, had it not been for José Salas, the 24-year old center fielder . Salas contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put Omaha up, 2-0.

"I thought we played a nice game," Nakano told the Omaha Bulletin. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
