Hawaii left-hander David Guzman pitched his team to victory over the Kansas City Tornadoes at Aloha Stadium. The final score was 6-3. Bernalldo Rocchi finished the game for Hawaii and earned his 3rd save. The Tornadoes fall to 11-16 and continue their lackluster start in 2033.

Katsuhiko Shimizu was one of the major contributors to the win for Hawaii. The light-hitting shortstop stroked a double to left in the bottom of the second inning. For the day, he was 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Shimizu told the Hawaii News. "It's as simple as that."
