Tight Tilt Goes to Racers, 2-1

The Bowling Green Racers topped the Scranton Escape, 2-1, in Nick Adenhart League action at Top of the Hill. The player of the game was Bowling Green pitcher Larry Allen. The Racers bumped their record to 50-44 with this latest triumph.
Bowling Green took a 2-0 lead on Griffin Roberge's 28th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Roberge hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Scranton pitcher Guo-quiang Zhào shaking his head.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Roberge, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
