The Silver Lake Baristas picked up a win at Ashton Gate, knocking off the Acapulco Banditos, 4-3. On the mound for Silver Lake was right-hander Douggie Pitchford, who played a pivotal role in the win. Pitchford went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 5-5. With the win over Acapulco, the Baristas improved to 41-46.
Chan-ho Lim helped out the Silver Lake cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman went 1 for 3 with a walk.
