Indian Wells right-hander Yeijiro Ishihara pitched his team to a shutout win, 4-0, over the Albuquerque Cacti. Kevin Spurr was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 21 of 26 save opportunities. Their 44-45 record puts the Aeropostales third in the Nick Adenhart League Bobby Cox Division.
Norberto Ramírez aided the Indian Wells cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the catcher went 2 for 3 with 2 singles.
