Cacti Win at Indian Wells, 7-6
Cacti center fielder Rob Leibbrandt put his stamp on his team's 7-6 win over the Indian Wells Aeropostales. Leibbrandt went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Albuquerque in the contest. Albuquerque reliever Tom Murchison was credited with the win, to go to 3-0. Ron Robinson took the loss for Indian Wells. Hisataro Sato notched his 28th save in 31 chances.

With Albuquerque leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Leibbrandt hit a fastball from Ron Robinson for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Cacti ahead, 5-0.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Albuquerque manager Tom Robertson.

Indian Wells's current losing streak is now 4 games.
