Late Rally by Freeze Secures Win
Pasadena got a terrific game from second baseman Brian Delmont. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Minneapolis, 9-8. Delmont was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Pedro García converted his 13th save in 14 tries. Pasadena has now lost 7 straight.

The Freeze beat the Bumblebees with some clutch hitting. The single by Bill Kremer in the top of the ninth is a good example. With two down, Kremer gave his team the lead, 9-8, when he came through with the big hit.

"We bring energy to every game," said losing manager Ramón Rosário. "But it's got to translate into wins."
