Behind a solid performance from first baseman Pat Hartley, the Scranton Escape defeated the Acapulco Banditos, 6-4. Hartley was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Escape. Máximo Larreta was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 8 of 11 save opportunities. Acapulco has now lost 4 straight.

The Escape got a big at-bat from center fielder John Huot. For the game, Huot was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Scranton a 2-0 lead.
