Canton pitcher Eduardo Diadoni did his part in helping his team beat the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 6-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. In 7 innings, Diadoni surrendered 10 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. The Paczkis improve their record to 44-39 with the win over Indian Wells.
Had Noboru Kamada not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Kamada hit a 3-run home run. That made the score 5-2, in favor of the Paczkis.
In postgame comments to the Canton Times, Diadoni said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
