Garza Goes Wild, But Raptors Win
|
Pasadena right fielder Héctor Garza had a good game, even if his team did not. The Bumblebees dropped a 12-8 decision to Omaha at Anchorage Municipal Stadium. Garza went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. The Raptors, at 45-38, have now won 7 straight.
José Salas hit a bases-clearing triple off Arturo Gallegos in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Raptors in front, 7-4. Salas had 2 walks, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 3.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Salas.
