The Indian Wells Aeropostales beat the Canton Paczkis, 4-2, at Mckinley Park. Corey Florey was recognized as player of the game for his performance. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The 28-year old center fielder was a menace to Canton all day. Indian Wells reliever John Faivre was the winner. His record is now 5-6. The losing pitcher was Don Hart. The Aeropostales bumped their record to 42-41 with this latest triumph.
Florey had an important at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the third, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Aeropostales went on to win.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Florey said after the game.
