The rain at Excavatar Park did not keep Acapulco and Peoria from finishing their game.

Acapulco third baseman Kai Jolliffe had 5 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Peoria Caterpillars, 10-3. The Banditos raised their record to 36-45.

The Banditos got a big at-bat from right fielder Coy Jacobs. For the game, Jacobs was 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. In the top of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Acapulco a 2-0 lead.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Jolliffe.
