Getting a good performance from catcher Jun Ogura, the Antioch Coal Miners defeated the Fort Worth Cats, 7-6. Ogura went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Coal Miners. Manuel Sánchez, credited with the save, is now 2 for 4 in save opportunities. The Coal Miners bumped their record to 42-37 with this latest triumph.

Ogura had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Coal Miners went on to win.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Ogura.
