Grays Lose to Black Knights in Walk Off
Brooklyn starter Jan Shirazi put a stranglehold on the Georgia offense. The left-hander had complete command of his cutter in leading the Black Knights to a 2-1 win. Brooklyn reliever Ti-an Dan was credited with the win, to go to 3-2. Martin Blank took the loss for Georgia. The Grays, at 7-18, have stumbled out of the gate.

Tony Gómez was the walk-off hero for Brooklyn. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Black Knights shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Shirazi.
